Role Description This full-time role nvolves meeting with clients to assess their life and health insurance needs and recommending appropriate policies. Day-to-day responsibilities include prospecting for new clients, conducting consultations, preparing quotes, and presenting insurance options in a clear and compliant manner. The Licensed Insurance Agent will complete applications, process policy changes, and maintain accurate records while adhering to regulatory and carrier guidelines. The role also requires ongoing client service, policy reviews, and collaboration with brokerage partners to stay informed about product updates and industry trends. Agents are expected to manage their business pipeline, follow up on leads, and provide responsive, respectful service to all clients.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated proficiency in Insurance Sales and general Insurance knowledge, with a focus on life and health products.
- Experience working within an Insurance Brokerage environment or with multiple carriers, including understanding of underwriting processes.
- Solid foundation in Finance to explain premiums, benefits, and long-term financial impacts of coverage options.
- Strong Customer Service skills, including active listening, clear communication, and handling client concerns professionally.
- Current state life and health insurance license (or eligibility to obtain), and commitment to maintaining continuing education requirements.
- Ability to work on-site in Olympia, WA, manage time effectively, and operate with a high level of integrity and compliance.
- Comfort with basic computer tools (CRM systems, email, spreadsheets) and willingness to learn carrier platforms.
- Prior sales or client-facing experience and bilingual or multilingual communication skills are beneficial.
